Emmy's Photography

I have always been into capturing images of the way that I see the world. Some of those photos I posted here.

All of these photos are captured on IPhone and use various photography techniques.

Depth of Field

This is a photo that I took in September at Foley Mountain mear Westport, Ontario. As you can see, the foreground, mid-ground are and background create distance and depth.

Prominent Object

This is a photo of my famous noodle dish, spicy chili garlic chicken with noodles and veggies. The photo was taken with the prominent object technique. #foodporn

Rule of Thirds

This photo was taken on my walk through the experimental farm. This image can be broken down into 9 segments both vertically and horizontally.

Decisive Movement

This is a photo that I captured of my uncle at his favorite restaurant. The image is candid and captured the flow of life in a natural way. He loves this photo lol.

Texture

This photo was taken on a hike in early autumn. To really highlight the texture on the tree, I used the Iphones portrait mode which allowed me to achieve deep focus on the texture of the bark.

Shapes & Patterns

This photo was taken in a parking lot near where I stay. The architecture was what caught my eye here.

Perspective

I have been obsessed with the perspective technique for years now. In this photo, I am in the forest at Murphy Point (A provincial park near Perth Ontario). The photo was captured from the perspective of the forest floor.
